The Days aren’t your average young adults trying to make their mark in society. They come from the Mirror World, where all supernatural beings live alongside our reality. Many stay within their own world, content with what they were born into, or in many human cases, oblivious to what lays beyond. But sometimes paths are crossed. The Days, Apple and Onion are two faes who were drawn to the human world. For fair-haired and equally fair-hearted Apple, it was the call of fame and the art of acting. For the brunette sister Onion, it was the sinful pleasures and excitement that the humans offered. Together they stepped into the human world against their family’s wishes, to face whatever challenges come their way.
Unfortunately, as sisters commonly do, they have their differences…
“Oh my God…” Apple said as she stepped through the door, “You’re telling me, this is what we spent the down-payment and first month’s rent on?!” She brings her hand to her nose, plugging it and staring at her sister with wide eyes.
Onion stretches and takes a deep intake of air, “Hell yeah! Isn’t it beautiful? I had a buddy of mine move all our shit in.” She gazes at the cockroaches scurrying away in the kitchen, “Though it seems it came furnished…” She smiles at the rest of the house, seemingly unbothered by the obvious filth, “Home sweet home.”
